After the recent entry into force of the Audiovisual Media Services Directive (AVMSD), the European Commission has now the task of drafting NEW guidelines for its transposition favouring a more effective harmonisation amongst Member States in Europe.
The market is shifting and more and more digital opportunities could become a clear new source of investment for local/European independent production. European independent producers are, with no doubt, embracing the changing audiovisual landscape and the new opportunities that the market is offering. National Associations of Independent Producers are engaged on a daily basis and committed to fostering a strong independent film and television production sector across Europe and beyond.
