Looking ahead, the programme must continue its mission to support the cultural and creative sector efficiently, promoting its diversity. A stronger budget is necessary to support the challenges faced by indepednent producer, and avoid any risk dillution of support in light of the increase of the scope of the programme. This strong prinicple is essential to ensure that the existing funding for audiovisual production is maintained, safeguarding independent producers and the cultural and artistic richness that their projects bring to the European creative landscape.
CEPI reaffirms that the core objectives of the Creative Europe programme must be maintained, centered on cultural and artistic goals. This approach is essential to maintain the cultural diversity of Europe, especially with by ensuring that smaller Member States and their creative voices are well represented.
